The name zebrawood is used to describe several tree species and the wood derived from them. Zebrawood is characterized by a striped figure that is reminiscent of a zebra. In the 20th century, the most important source of zebrawood was a tree native to Central Africa. Other sources include Brazilian, Africa, Pacific and Asia.

  5. Specific Gravity (Basic, 12% MC): .67, .81
  6. Janka Hardness: 1,830 lbf (8,160 N)
  7. Modulus of Rupture: 17,800 lbf/in2 (122.8 MPa)
  8. Elastic Modulus: 2,374,000 lbf/in2 (16.37 GPa)
  9. Crushing Strength: 9,210 lbf/in2 (63.5 MPa)

The zebrawood is light brown or creamy, with dark brown stripes and is similar to zebra stripes. Black and gold lines make it an excellent choice for many woodworking projects. Therefore, we chose zebrawood to make watches, finely crafted, and retain their beautiful texture with the most exquisite craftsmanship, which enhances the beauty of the watch.

However, zebra wood is susceptible to moisture and temperature, so zebrawood watches should be used to avoid excessive exposure to hot water.
